Fort Payne Middle School

In the 2016 C-Span video documentary contest, FPMS had 2 national winners out of 2887 video submissions.  FPMS had the only two winners in the state of Alabama.  The C-Span tour bus made its way to Alabama in May.  As quoted from the C-Span website, "The C-SPAN Bus travels the country to engage and educate visitors on our programming and vast online resources through multimedia, interactive exhibits."

FPMS students were given to opportunity to rotate through the bus and interact with all it had to offer.  FPMS loved meeting the C-Span teacher and hope to be on the tour again some day.
